Searcys are looking for anSandwich Chef to join their Culinary team at 116 Pall Mall.
116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London. This venue is one of our flagship sites based on Pall Mall with a vast array of decadent event spaces. With five floors of versatile event space including an underground Champagne bar, 116 Pall Mall is able to cater to a range of corporate or private events to wow our guests.
As a Sandwich chef in this venue, will plan, prepare and execute all sandwich services for both the main kitchen and events, adhering to the standards laid out by the Executive and Head chef, as well as Searcys guidelines.

Job Description
- Full time
- Salary£31,675 pa
- 7.30 17.00 Monday to Friday with overtime option
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide food/service to a consistent high standard, including assisting senior chefs with all events in the building as well as other areas throughout the business
- Support all senior Chefs in delivering food/service, with particular focus in the sandwich preparation area
- To liaise with key people in the team, in order to plan for the provision of food in all areas
- To ensure smooth running of daily operations which include ensuring no disruption to the pre agreed menu offer, adhering to all standards laid out by the senior team
- Responsible for managing stock level and waste control related to their work area
- Ensure the presentation of the food is consistent with the standards set by senior chefs
- To comply with all legal requirements with reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or client stipulation
- To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to, as described in the Searcy Health & Safety Policy, including best practices to always ensure personal hygiene is always maintained
- Demonstrate Personal Development.
- To assist the senior team with any other reasonable requests
