Job Title: Computer Science Graduate (KTP Associate) Ulster University and Inspire Wellbeing School: School of Computing Location: Inspire Wellbeing,10-20 Lombard Street, Belfast, BT1 1RD Salary: £35,000 per annum Closing Date: 29 October 2024 Full time, Fixed-term two-year post Reference Number: 31644 - THE BUSINESS - Inspire Wellbeing is an innovative social enterprise that works with employers and institutions of further and higher education to provide access to quality wellbeing support and counselling services, promoting early intervention, treatment and mental wellbeing awareness. Our employee assistance programme provides: - a year round 24-hour confidential telephone support line,





providing support from qualified experienced counsellors - face to face counselling services in supportive, comfortable locations across the island of Ireland - telephone and online counselling sessions - access to digital information and tools to protect and promote mental health - financial, legal and other specialist information to help employees cope with lifes challenges - personalised support and guidance for people returning to work after sickness, planning their retirement or making challenging management decisions - THE ROLE - Inspire Wellbeing in partnership with Ulster University, has established a 2-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Project and is offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and highly motivated Computer Science graduate to work as a KTP Associate to oversee the development of a new digital product that will provide data driven useful and actionable insights and provide key business intelligence to improve mental health and wellbeing services.





- KTP PROJECT DESCRIPTION - The KTP will focus on developing the digital product to be a user-friendly platform for exploring and visualising datasets to facilitate the discovery of important knowledge and insight into, for example, services and business processes. The product will allow domain experts (and non technical users) to discover business intelligence and other insights to inform services and facilitate continuous quality improvement. The project involves utilising skills in project management, software design, computer programming, databases as well as the application of data science and machine learning methods/techniques.

The Associate should have good skills and experience the following areas:





- Software programming / development - Design/development and use of databases/data models - Data science and data visualisation - Machine learning/artificial intelligence - Statistics - Project management and communication - Further information can be found in the Candidate Briefing Document The appointment will be for a period of two years and although the post is administratively linked to the University, the Associate will be based at the Companys premises in Inspire Wellbeing,10-20 Lombard Street, Belfast, BT1 1RD. Successful completion of the KTP may lead to a new position within the company partner at the end of the project period.
