An organisation is seeking a Head of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing who will play a key role in shaping and embedding a culture of safety, mental health, and overall wellbeing across all levels of our business. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership, including the Executive Management Team, to build scalable H&S; strategies that support our rapidly growing, global workforce.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leadership: Lead the development of a proactive H&S; culture, ensuring that health, safety, and wellbeing are core values integrated into all areas of the business.
2. Strategy Development: Create and implement global H&S; strategies, including mental health and wellbeing programs, tailored to the needs of our diverse teams.
3.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, while ensuring compliance with legal obligations across the multiple countries where we operate.
4. Training and Support: Develop comprehensive training programs to empower operational teams to make safe decisions in live environments.
5. Reporting & Compliance: Provide detailed H&S; reporting to the executive team and the board, ensuring transparency and ongoing improvement.
6. Global Operations: Ensure our H&S; strategies are effective and adaptable for the international regions where we operate, staying ahead of local regulations and risks.
This position is perfect for you if you possess:
1. A relevant degree or NEBOSH Diploma, with CMIOSH status (or working towards it)
2. 7+ years of senior H&S; experience, ideally within fast-paced or live environments (sports, broadcasting, or similar)
3. Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all levels
4.
Expertise in interpreting risk and implementing innovative H&S; solutions across global teams
5. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
