CONSTRUCTION PROJECT DIRECTOR VACANCY AVAILABLE!
Our client is seeking a Construction Project Director to join their team permanently. The Construction Project Director will be joining a growing company, working on a hybrid basis in either the London, Sheffield or Carlisle offices. The Construction Project Director must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial/construction and will be leading multiple projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities for the Construction Project Director:
Identify and implement productivity and cost improvements in the commercial and construction areas
Ensure that delivery contracts are well understood, managed, and contractually implemented promptly
Work with a wider team to set up projects commercially the right way
Ensure the visibility of the performance of the whole project team
Ensure the cost to date and forecast cost to compete are updated and reported on against each project
Ensure that sufficient resources are available to deliver the projects
Work alongside Chief Operating Officer (COO), Head of Commercial and other DirectorsSkills Required for the Construction Project Director:
Extensive experience in commercial management and experienced in managing multi-disciplinary projects
Worked in commercial/construction with at least 5 years' experience leading complex commercial project management
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Provided commercial advice into management teams and how to manage risk and deal with any issues arising
