Theyare seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design Technology Teacherto join their dedicated faculty in a fulltime permanent positioncommencing this October.
PositionOverview :
The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to contribute to the schools dynamicDesign Technology department inspiring the next generation oftechsavvy individuals.
The role entails fostering a love fortechnology and computational thinking in students equipping themwith essential skills for the digitalage.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Design and deliver engaging and rigorous DesignTechnology lessons aligned with the national curriculum and schoolseducational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotesstudent curiosity problemsolving and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress providingconstructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the DesignTechnology department and across the school to enhance the learningexperience.
- Stay abreast of currentpedagogical approaches and developments in the field of DesignTechnology.
Qualificationsand Experience :
- ABachelors degree or higher in Design Technology InformationTechnology or a related field.
- QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teachingqualification.
- Demonstrated experienceteaching Design Technology at the secondarylevel.
