Overview :
Provide a complete service to the Banks Customers to a high levelof administration and service.
Ensure that transactionsallocated are properly implemented independently controlled anddiligently monitored.
Work together with your teamclients relationship managers / marketing / account officers and otherdepartments of the Bank where necessary.
Familiarizeoneself with different products and process methods in accordancewith policies and procedures.
To provide a professionaland timely response to enquiries received from internal andexternal customers of thedepartment.
WhatYou Will Be Doing :
CoreReceivable duties :
Process daily administrationduties under Master Receivable Financing Agreements includingprocessing drawdowns checking drawdown documentation and limitsrate fixes discount calculations fees maturity extensions paymentscancellation receipt of funds allocation of funds credit notesearly repays and part payments in accordance with agreed anddocumented processes and guided by experienced teammembers.
Position and create payments in relation toReceivable Trade Finance Products within currency cut offtimes.
Escalation of breaches red flags and other issuesincluding nonperforming transactions to your reporting line / Head ofDepartment / Support manager in accordance with documented processes.
Any OREs to be reported to your reporting line / Head ofDepartment / Support Managerimmediately.
Other :
Familiarize oneself with different Banks systems.
To logorganize and prioritize all work received.
Check Nostroand Type 25 account Reconciliations to ensure any outstanding itemsrelating to Receivables are actioned confirm allocation of fundswith Receivable clients and arrange onward payment for fundsreceived not financed.
Mature contracts for early repayments matchlate receipts and identify and chase shortfalls inpayment.
Update suspense spreadsheet as necessary andreconcile suspense accounts to URBIS on a monthly basis.
Arrange for payments to be made in accordance with authenticinstructions.
Monitor / chase outstanding funds daily anddiarize as necessary.
Liaise with Finance forreconciliation.
Populate Narratives in Corona on Statusfor outstanding funds daily
Assist in Project work forthe department Qualco Project related activities
MaintainReceivables Database / Trading Platforms (if applicable) Rohirst andrelevant checklists.
Prepare document location formsDOCSLOCS for the safe custody of original documentation and ensurethey are stored in the safe or the vault.
AdHoc duties asrequested by Senior Officer Head of Department / SupportManager(s).
CandidateSpecification :
Basic knowledge of word and excel skills.
It is highlydesirable if the candidate has previous work experience in a TradeFinance function.
The ability to remain calm whilst underpressure from the business and clients.
Accurate andmethodical.
Good communication and organizationalskills.
The ability to work independently or as part of ateam.
Foreign language skills are anadvantage.
