Acute Care Nursing Director
KANSAS
Compensation : $101,000 - $153,000 (plus up to 15% incentive bonus, case-by-case sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance)
Job Overview :
We're seeking an exceptional Acute Care Nursing Director to provide strategic leadership and vision for our nursing teams.
As a key member of our healthcare leadership team, you'll oversee service line operations, drive quality improvement initiatives, and foster a patient-centered care environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide 24 / 7 leadership and accountability for acute care nursing services
- Develop and implement service line goals, objectives, and quality improvement initiatives
- Foster collaborative relationships with physicians,
staff, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and risk management guidelines
- Oversee staffing, fiscal management, and operational efficiency
- Lead, coach, and develop nursing staff to maximize performance and growth
- Represent the hospital in community and vendor relations
Ideal Candidate :
To excel in this role, you'll bring :
- Current Kansas RN licensure (or multi-state licensure)
- BLS verification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive acute care nursing management experience (Med / Surg, Telemetry, Oncology, or similar unit)
- Proven track record of leadership, quality improvement, and staff development
