Job description
We are recruiting one Clinical Research Fellow for 12 months with extension to 3 years on mutual agreement to complete a PhD with the University of Manchester.
The post will support a series of experimental medicine studies embedded within the Respiratory theme of the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre.
These studies will interrogate the role of ATP release in the airways and activity in the central nervous system of patients with refractory chronic cough.
The candidate will join the very established University of Manchester Cough Research Team. The studies will be performed in collaboration with the NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility at Wythenshawe Hospital.
The candidate will ideally have experience in respiratory medicine and respiratory research and will provide medical support for these studies including bronchoscopic sampling.
