Job description
Connex Education is working with a couple of Partner Secondary School in Liverpool who are recruiting for a qualified English Teacher to work full- time during term time.
About the school
The school is very popular within the Liverpool area with a supportive SLT who are currently looking for someone who share their passion for education to carry out English lessons for key stages 3 and 4.
The school offer's a friendly atmosphere with a motivated team of teachers focused on student progress. They are looking for an English Teacher who is hard working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils education.
The right candidate will be able to confidently step into the department and continue teaching the existing schemes of work.

Person Specification
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
- PGCE in English or related subject from a recognized provider
- You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
- Have experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.
- Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 English lessons across ability ranges.
- Be passionate about instilling a love of English language and literature.
- Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
