Salary : £11.90 - £12.10 per hour (pay award pending)
42.5 hours per week, working full year

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our Play Pals nursery team based on Atherton Road, Hindley Green.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners and providing high-quality care and education for our youngest children aged 0 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for the children.
- Supervise, support, and mentor the nursery practitioners, promoting their professional development.
- Maintain accurate records, observations, and assessments to monitor each child's progress
- Work closely with parents / carers to build strong partnerships and provide regular feedback.
- Ensure the nursery room adheres to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements :
- Relevant Level 3 or above qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Nursery Room Leader or Senior Practitioner role.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practises in early years education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and the team.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, while also being a collaborative and supportive colleague.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for working with young children.
