Job Title : PPA Cover Teacher

Job Description :

As a PPA Cover Teacher based in Romford, Greater London, England, you will be responsible for providing cover for planned absence (PPA - Planning, Preparation, and Assessment time) of regular classroom teachers.

This temporary position requires working full-time hours within the Education and Training industry. The salary range for this role is £130 - £200 per day, with an additional benefit of a +£50 referral fee.

Job Duties :

- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across different year groups and subjects during teachers' absence.
- Ensure all work set by the regular classroom teachers is completed by students.






- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Provide feedback to regular classroom teachers on students' progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members as needed.

Required Qualifications :

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience working in a similar role within a school setting.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Additional training in Special Education or SENCO qualification.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Experience using technology in the classroom.

Working Conditions :

- Temporary position with full-time hours.
- Work location in Romford, Greater London, England.






- Regular interaction with students, teachers, and school staff.
- Potential for travel between different schools within the area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
