About the Role :
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Biology lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and safe learning environment that fosters a love of exploration, critical thinking, and scientific understanding.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core biological principles, practical laboratory skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Biology or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for biology and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
