The Role
We are looking for a Head of Cared for Children and Care Leavers to join our senior leadership team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services that strategically support the safeguarding of children and young people across all services.
The role holder will lead in building a team around children to ensure their happiness and safety when the Council is acting in its role as a corporate parent - working restoratively and using tools and ideas and drive the development of a team culture where good practice can flourish to the benefit of all.
The successful candidate will have the energy, confidence and passion to drive high expectations and an ability to bring partners and colleagues on our improvement journey.

You will join a newly formed permanent Children’s senior leadership team, bringing stability to the committed social care workforce.

you will drive forward the improvement plan setting out a bright future for children and young people.
