About the Role :
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Economics lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of economic concepts.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive knowledge of economic theories, historical trends, and contemporary issues.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Economics department and other departments to create interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall learning experience.
- Contribute to the school's academic excellence and participate in extracurricular activities related to Economics.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Economics or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Economics and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and individual creativity.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
