Position Overview :
The successful candidate will play an integral role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Business and Economics curriculum to students across Key Stages 4 and 5.
The role entails fostering a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking, analytical skills, and a sound understanding of business principles and economic concepts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver captivating Business and Economics lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos.
- Create a dynamic classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement, participation, and independent thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Business and Economics department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current economic trends, business developments, and pedagogical approaches.
Qualifications and Experience :
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Business and Economics at the secondary level.
