Job description
Direct Medics is a Registered Supplier to the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trust Framework. As such, we are now recruiting on behalf of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service for a Senior HR professional.
This role will be full time 37.5 hrs pw Monday -Fri 9am-5pm.
The postholder will be a key member of the Workforce Directorate and will contribute to the achievement of the overall Directorate’s performance objectives.
The postholder will have specific responsibilities in relation to a workforce area(s), providing core advice, guidance and support to Managers on a range of workforce issues
The Successful candidate will be expected to act as a member of the wider team in ensuring the delivery of a proactive,
responsive and professional HR service to internal and external stakeholders.
This is a great role where the successful candidate will work within a friendly and helpful team. The duration of this role is for 3-6 months initially with the possibility to extend!
The postholder will be expected to regularly travel between NIAS facilities in the conduct of their duties. Flexibility may be afforded to the postholder in relation to base location, provided the requirements of the post are met in full.

Requirements
Have a relevant degree or recognised professional qualification plus a minimum of two years’ experience working as a senior HR professional e.
g. (HR Manager, Senior HR officer, Senior HR advisor) providing professional advice and guidance on a range of workforce issues.
- Have a minimum of five years’ experience two of which must be at working as a senior HR professional e.g. (HR Manager, Senior HR officer, Senior HR advisor)
providing professional advice and guidance on a range of workforce issues.
- Have, or commit to acquiring, an advanced (post-graduate) level qualification in HR.
- Full UK Driver’s License
- Right to work in the UK
