Job Overview :
We're seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit! As a cardiac nurse, you'll assess acute changes in patients, monitor heart rhythms, and intervene in emergency situations.
Our team values critical thinking, clinical expertise, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
Unit Highlights :
- 4 : 1-5 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio (day shift), 5 : 1-6 : 1 (night shift)
- 1 tech per hall for enhanced support
- Diverse patient population : chest pain, stroke, COPD, post-op, GI, accelerated heart rhythm, and drips
- Step-down unit from PCU and Level II Trauma Center
- Strong leadership for career development and advancement opportunities
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and provide therapeutic and administrative care
- Analyze heart rhythms, interpret ECGs, and note arrhythmias
- Intervene in emergency situations and provide critical care
- Educate patients and families on heart health and self-care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Ideal Candidate :
To excel in this role, you'll bring :
- 1+ year of acute care RN experience
- Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Current MO RN licensure (or multistate license)
- BLS certification upon hire
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire date
What We Offer :
- Competitive salary : $32.00 - $43.00 (based on experience)
- Shift differentials : $3 / night, $2 / weekend
- $12,000 sign-on bonus (2-year commitment)
