Aboutthe Role
On behalf of ourclient we are seeking an experienced and handson Senior FinancialData Analyst for a contract role. This is a sleevesrolledupposition suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment andis ready to deliver tangible results without managing a team orholding a leadership role.
The successful candidate will reportdirectly to the Group Finance Director and will play a key role inestablishing the Financial Planning & Analysis(FP&A;)function.
KeyResponsibilities
- FP&ACapabilityDevelopment; :
- Establish andbuild the FP&A; function for the client within a lean andfastmoving business.
- Work closelywith senior leadership particularly the Group Finance Director toimplement financial planning forecasting and analysisprocesses.
- DataArchitecture &Governance; :
- Collaboratewith external data specialists to design and implement dataarchitecture and governancesolutions.
- Ensure reportingprocesses are streamlined and support the business s performanceimprovement goals.
- KeyMetricsManagement :
- Analyse datato identify and track critical businessmetrics.
- Provide insights andrecommendations that support senior leadership in making keybusinessdecisions.
- HandsonRole :
- This is a practicalsleevesrolledup role where the candidate will be directly involvedin the execution of tasks without the support of ateam.
- The successful candidate mustbe selfsufficient taking ownership of their work from start tofinish.
- SeniorStakeholderEngagement :
- Work withsenior stakeholders including the Group Finance Director to deliverfinancial insights that drivedecisionmaking.
- Present complex dataclearly and concisely to nonfinancialstakeholders.
Requirements
KeyRequirements :
- StrongFP&A; or financial data analysis experience in a small tomediumsized business.
- Demonstratedability to work independently and deliver handson results in a leanenvironment.
- Experience working withexternal data specialists to implement data architecture andreporting solutions.
- Proven abilityto focus on the key financial metrics that drive businessperformance.
- Finance background withstrong knowledge of financial reporting planning andanalysis.
- Comfortable engaging withsenior stakeholders particularly the Group FinanceDirector.
- Willingness to travel toremote offices whennecessary.
Key Requirements : Strong FP&A; or financial data analysisexperience in a small to medium-sized business.
Demonstratedability to work independently and deliver hands-on results in alean environment.
Experience working with external data specialiststo implement data architecture and reporting solutions. Provenability to focus on the key financial metrics that drive businessperformance.
Finance background with strong knowledge of financialreporting, planning, and analysis. Comfortable engaging with seniorstakeholders, particularly the Group Finance Director.
Willingnessto travel to remote offices when necessary.
