Project IT Infrastructure Engineer (Telephony)
Location : Bristol (Hybrid)
Salary : £50,
Contract : 12-month FTC
Requirements : Full and valid UK driving licence and own car
A Bristol based business are looking for a Project focused IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The primary focus of this role is to support the implementation of technical projects across the business, with a principal focus on coordinating telephony upgrades across multiple sites.
IT Infrastructure Engineer Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the technical hands-on resource to configure the new telephony system and associated infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the IT team, project management office,
and third-party vendors.
- Participate in project meetings, providing facilitation or technical support as needed.
- Report directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager, providing regular updates on project status and progress on resolving any issues.
IT Infrastructure Engineer Experience required :
- Strong understanding of IP Networks, including network switching, Ethernet, TCP / IP, DHCP, and other networking technologies.
- Experience phone systems, ideally both on-premise and cloud-based.
- Experience working with third-party vendors.
- Experience working on High Availability systems
- Microsoft Server / 19 / 22
- Hyper V
- Mobile Device Managers such as Intune.
- Experience with VOIP applications.
