Our OFSTED Outstanding secondary school in Richmond seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Science teacher to join our dynamic faculty.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds across the scientific disciplines.
About the Role :
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Science lessons across all year groups, covering a range of scientific subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of exploration, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core scientific principles, practical laboratory skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Science and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
