We have a fantastic opportunity for a Property Management Accountant - South to join our Delivery Business Partnering team on a fixed term 9 month FTC.
The team works closely with the senior management teams in NHSPS’s main business area. We provide analysis of business results, financial performance management, planning and decision making.
This includes financial advisory and support on business initiatives, budget setting and projects.
We're offering up to £43,000 per annum DOE along with flexible working policy.
About the role :
The purpose of this role is to own the end to end property accounting processes, costs and income for a set of properties.
This role shall ensure all processes, from Property Budgets to Annual reconciliation, are done on time and accurately and that all property costs and income are accurate and timely accounted for.
You Will :
- Be accountable for the monthly reviews on Income and Expenditure at a property level including R&Os;, driving financial accountability with Senior Estates Managers.
- Support the production of the monthly regional management accounts, including KPI reporting and variance analysis on P&L; and Balance Sheet.
- Own and manages all accounting processes and activities related to a specific set of properties
- Provides financial support to Estates Delivery Senior Managers.
- Champion a continuous improvement approach across finance.
- Be responsible for the production of Annual Charging Schedules and Annual Reconciliation within corporate deadlines
- Ensure the recovery of costs from customers is in line with company policy (Irrecoverables, Self Occupied, Vacant unfunded, etc).
What you will bring to the role :
- Broad understanding of business operations and governance / legal frameworks
- Good working knowledge of using Qube Horizon and Microsoft Dynamics NAV system.
- Internal relationship management
- Experience on Property management accountancy or other relevant experience.
- Qualified accountant or other relevant financial qualification.
- Commercial and financial acumen
- Data driven decision making
- Financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
