Job description
We are seeking a supportive Computer ScienceTeacher to join a flourishing Secondary School based in BexleyLondon starting January.
The successful candidate will bepassionate about education and have a proven track record ofdelivering excellent teaching in a Computer Science setting.
Asidefrom that the successful Computer Science Teacher will workcollaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receivea positive and engaging learningexperience.
Computer ScienceTeacher Responsibilities :
Planand deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge andinspire Computer Science students to reach their fullpotential
Monitor and assess students progressand keep regular records of Computer Science students academicperformance
Create a positive learningenvironment that is both safe and conducive forlearning
Collaborate with school managementteaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support forComputer Science students
Prepare andparticipate in schoolrelated activities such as performances eventsand parent / teacher meetings
Adhere tosafeguarding policies and promote the welfare of allstudents
Use a variety of effective classroommanagement strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learningenvironment
Computer ScienceTeacher Requirements :
ComputerScience teacher experience
QTS orequivalent
A recognised qualification inteaching preferably a Bachelors degree in Education or any relevantfield
Proven experience in teaching ComputerScience in a mainstream secondary school
Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engageand motivate learners
Strong interpersonalskills with an ability to communicate effectively with parentsstaff and students
Sound knowledge of thenational curriculum and its application in class
Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learningstyles
A passion for teaching and making adifference in studentslives.
