About the Role :
- Design and deliver engaging and informative English lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of literature, language, and critical thinking.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core English principles, literary analysis, and creative expression.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the English department and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for English literature and language, with a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a single-sex learning environment.
