The Role : As a KS2 Nurture Teacher at our SEN School you will play a crucialrole in providing additional support and intervention for studentswho may require extra assistance with social emotional andbehavioral needs.
Key responsibilitiesinclude :
- Planning and deliveringtailored interventions and support programs to meet the socialemotional and behavioral needs of KS2students.
- Creating a nurturing and inclusivelearning environment where students feel valued supported andempowered to succeed.
- Collaborating withcolleagues parents and external agencies to provide holisticsupport and interventions forstudents.
- Monitoring and assessing studentprogress providing feedback and support to promote growth anddevelopment.
- Implementing strategies to promotepositive behavior management and social skillsdevelopment.
Requirements : To excel in this role candidates should possess the followingqualifications andattributes :
- Qualified Teacher Status(QTS) and experience working with students with special educationalneeds particularly in KS2.
- Strong understandingof social emotional and behavioral needs and effective strategiesfor supporting student wellbeing.
- Excellentcommunication interpersonal and teamworkskills.
- Compassion patience and a genuinecommitment to making a positive difference in the lives ofstudents.
- Flexibility adaptability andresilience in responding to the diverse needs ofstudents.
