About The Role
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be an integral part of our sales team, representing our brand at various events and retail locations. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers, promote our clients’ causes, and drive sales through direct interaction. You will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience while effectively communicating the benefits of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Proactively interact with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that encourage purchases.
- Sales Promotion: Actively promote products and services related to our non-profit clients,
highlighting their benefits and encouraging ongoing support.
- Event Participation: Support the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring that all promotional displays are attractive and functional.
- Sales Goals: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets through effective communication, persuasion, and rapport-building with customers.
- Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback on products and promotions to identify areas for improvement and relay insights to the management team.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive team environment and share best practices for achieving sales success.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by ensuring products are well-stocked, organized, and presented in a visually appealing manner.
Requirements
- Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. We cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas, unfortunately.
- Must not have applied to any of our openings in the past 30 days.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential; a strong desire to excel in sales is crucial.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse range of customers.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor, capable of creating a welcoming environment for customers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- A self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
