JLR’s graduate programme is where your ambition meets automotive innovation. Learn from visionary industry experts, build your network and gain invaluable industry insight. Become integral to our future and build the exceptional career you deserve. Arrive with potential. Grow with freedom.

Your career starts here.

SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS GRADUATE PROGRAMME

In an increasingly turbulent world with unpredictable markets, it can be a challenge to manage complex international supply chains like ours. As a result, we’ve transformed the way we think and work, with supply chain planning, resilience and sustainability now at the forefront of some of our most exciting digital innovations.

The ever-changing landscape of the automotive industry is full of new technology, radical innovation, and revolutionary ideas – meaning the opportunities for you to learn fast, champion change and build a career where no two days are the same, are endless.

This two-year long graduate programme will give you the technical skills and practical experience you need to become a successful logistics professional. Working within either our Commercial team, or our Industrial Operations Supply Chain and Logistics team, you’ll have the opportunity to take on different responsibilities that match your skill set and interests, supported by a mentor every step of the way.

INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS (IO): SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS TEAM

Our Reimagine strategy is transforming every part of our business.

We’re rethinking how we design and deliver the next generation of luxury, sustainable cars and everything that goes into them.

We’re using advanced digital tools to reinvent our end-to-end supply chain capability and performance, bringing together a global network of more than 5,000 suppliers in the most connected way possible to achieve one thing: delivering awe-inspiring vehicles on time, flexibly, sustainably and competitively.

As a graduate in this team, you’ll complete four, six-month rotations. You could build your skills in areas such as sales and operations planning, sustainability, vehicle distribution, risk and resilience, or supply chain demand.

Some of our recent projects include the delivery of a circular economy initiative from concept through to implementation of a closed loop supply chain, and preparing a detailed geopolitical supply chain risk study paper. We’ve also developed an accounting methodology for supply chain greenhouse gas emissions and water usage, and completed a sustainability impact assessment for our distribution compound that models distribution for peak manufacturing scenarios.

COMMERCIAL SUPPLY CHAIN TEAM

Sitting at the heart of our commercial supply chain operation, you’ll manage demand planning and parts availability, ensuring we deliver a modern luxury customer experience and bring our Reimagine strategy to life.

We’re undergoing a transformation to drive simplicity, growth and our go-to-market strategy, making customers smile at every touch point.

As a graduate in this team, you’ll play a pivotal role in making this happen, delivering the right parts and vehicles to the right place, at the right time.

You can expect to be challenged every day as you develop a rigorous and commercially focused approach to planning, supported by industry-leading experts and backed by continual learning opportunities.

YOUR DEVELOPMENT

Our graduate programme is all about helping you grow and thrive. You’ll get to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry, build connections, and gain valuable insights that will set you up for success.

We’re here to support you every step of the way, both personally and professionally, so you can reach your full potential. As a graduate,

you’ll join a bespoke learning programme designed and delivered in partnership with our external training partner, Ashorne Hill. You’ll build essential business skills, including resilience, decision making and problem solving, personal branding, and self-care. Plus, you’ll have dedicated off-the-job learning time and the ongoing support of our Early Careers Delivery team, who will be with you throughout your journey.

During the programme, you’ll sharpen your creative and strategic thinking, develop leadership skills, and contribute to key business projects. By the time you finish, you’ll be ready to make an impact and play a vital role in shaping the future of JLR.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

To join the Supply Chain and Logistic Graduate Programme,

you’ll need to hold or be on track to achieve a 2:2 degree or higher in any degree subject. While a background in data handling is not required, confidence in working with data will be beneficial for the programme.

You should be a skilled problem-solver with a curiosity for understanding business challenges and a drive to deliver innovative solutions. Strong numerical and interpersonal skills, along with the confidence to champion new initiatives, are also essential.

REWARDS AND BENEFITS

Our 2025 graduate programme salary is £32,000, with a £2,000 joining bonus to welcome you to JLR. After two years, you will progress from the graduate programme on a £39,000 salary. In addition, JLR offer a generous holiday allowance,

a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, excellent pension provisions and access to a wide range of deals and discounts from well-known retailers and sports clubs.
