Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, UK.Stonehouse Technology Centre (SHTC) is the SLB drilling Centre of Excellence.
It supports SLB through innovative engineering and quality-driven manufacturing, with portfolio emphasis on rotary steerable systems, Measurement While Drilling tools, Specialised Measurement tools and Rechargeable Batteries for Downhole use, and power source products. Over 400 employees work in SHTC's modern, fit-for-purpose building in scenic Gloucestershire.
The facility was constructed to handle future demand for PowerDrive tools with an efficient workflow that ensures assembled tools are extensively and rigorously tested before delivery. On site, tools can be monitored using state of-the-art hardware and connectivity that link SHTC to all field locations. SHTC continues Research & Development investment for new technologies, extending operational limits so that clients can reach hotter, deeper reserves.
Description & Scope:
Join the Manufacturing Team in Stonehouse this year to lead and manage a project in our production facility. Part of the team from day one, you will contribute in developing practical solutions to manufacturing issues. The challenges we face often lie in plant optimisation and design, data management and analysis, assembly tooling and test automation.
With the support of a buddy and regular reviews with your manager, we will help you to achieve your goals. Deliverables: Optimisation of Data Transfer Data Analysis Statistical Process Control Testing Improvements Automation and Streamlining of Manufacturing Processes Required Skills & Education: Studying for a Bachelors or Masters - (Penultimate or Final year) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field Oral and written communication skills in English Good motivation, autonomy,
