A secondary school in Newham are looking for a candidate to join them as a Librarian and Reprographic Technician, they will need to provide technical support and act as a main contact point for students and staff within the Library. They will have day-to-day responsibility for the school’s Library and operation of the school reprographic resources along with the completion of copying, printing and ensuring this is carried out in a timely manner. You will need to be an approachable individual who is helpful and enjoys working in partnership with staff and students alike.

Job Responsibilities
* Promote the library and its resources to the whole school community
* Prepare and manage budgets for the library and its resources
* Supervise and monitor the library and supporting the Teaching and Support Staff in reinforcing school behaviour policies
* To promote the appropriate use of the Reprographics equipment and ensure that printed material is created in the most cost effective and environmentally friendly manner, across the whole school.
Preferred Skills
* Have worked as a Librarian or reprographic technician previously
* Have a good understanding of the responsibility for personal health, safety, and welfare of students
* Have good behaviour management
* Be able to prioritise work schedules and multi task
* Hold a valid DBS or apply for one
