Supply Chain Planning Systems Transition Lead
London/Hybrid working - You are expected to work from the Central London office twice a week.
12-month Contract
£525 - £585 per day Outside IR35
A leading FMCG organisation is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Systems Transition Lead to manage the transition and implementation of their supply chain systems, including Kinaxis and Microsoft 365 Business Services tools such as Specright for artwork and packaging. This role requires a project manager with deep supply chain planning expertise and a strategic, integrated approach to system implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end transition and implementation of Kinaxis and other supply chain systems,
ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive implementation strategy that fosters cross-functional integration and avoids siloed processes.
- Effectively manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to meet critical milestones.
- Work closely with transformation directors, supply chain leads, and IT teams to ensure seamless communication and integration across all departments.
- Provide expert advice on functional carve-outs and best practices for supply chain planning and system implementations.
- Identify potential risks early on and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a project manager in supply chain planning systems implementation, particularly with functional carve-outs.
- In-depth knowledge of Kinaxis and Microsoft 365 Business Services.
- Strategic thinker with a holistic view of system implementations, avoiding tunnel vision or siloed methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
