Team Leader - Single Point of Access

The Team Leader in the Single Point of Access will support the day to day running of the team, in addition to liaising with partners to improve our relationships and increase the understanding of how the Single Point of Access works.

About the role

You will be an experienced social work qualified manager who will be supervised by the Deputy Head of Service. The Team Leader will provide management oversight and supervision to the various roles within the team, including Social Workers, Contact Information Officers, and Business Support Officers.

This is a key role who will drive performance and timely decision making at the front door.

The Deputy will have accountability for threshold and safeguarding decisions. The Team Leader will provide supervision to the various roles within the team, including Social Workers, Contact Information Officers, and Business Support Officers.







There will be a requirement for the post holder to take part in the out of hours Emergency Duty Manager rota

About you

The successful candidate will be :

- Educated to a degree level with a relevant professional qualification in social work.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field i.e. social work, leadership and management.
- Active Social Work England registration and proven evidence of continuing professional development.
