Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service partner with Zurich to support contingent recruitment hiring.
On behalf of Zurich, AMS are looking for a Senior Project Manager for an initial 3 month contract with scope for extension (the project in question runs to March 2025.
This would be largely remote working with just one day / month in any UK office (Swindon, Fareham, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, London).
Candidates must be able toplete their work from the UK.

In the UK, Zurich provide a suite of general insurance products covering business, casualty, motor, property and travel insurance, life insurance and pensions products to individuals and corporate customers.

As a Senior PM with Zurich, you will be involved in one of our most challenging,
critical projects across our Life or General Insurance Businesses working as lead PM on the Consumer Duty P&C; programme, to ensure the regulation oues are achieved on a continuous basis.
This will involve embedding consumer dutypliance to ensure regulatory expectations are met and enhanced in maturity including establishing cohesiveness between all types of consumer duty, fair value, APRs and similar aspects.
As a Senior Project Manager you will :
- Understand and interpret business objectives, goals and targets into tangible deliverables that are balanced and sustainable after the project ends.
- Be collaborative by nature and work with other areas of the business with the customer at the heart of your focus.
- Drive activity and understand the deliverables involved, as well as meet challenging timelines.
- Work together with internal and e-ternal suppliers to get the best value for change activity.
- Work with the project sponsor to produce the Business case and benefits plan.
- Be confident when ites to change and able to deal with conflict and resolution, which often hinges on critical dependencies.
You'll be responsible for the planning and delivery of projects, understanding how these align with the long-term plans of the business.
- Work with and managing heads of Business stakeholders from multiple functions.
- Be adept at reading situations to figure out the best approach to meet business goals, including the adoption of any formal project methodology like Agile or Waterfall.
- Take a naturally consultative approach and will be able to provide leadership, advice, guidance, coaching and direction to project team members.
- Lead and share best practices and experiences with peer groups to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues affecting the project followed by implementing remedial action and developing quality plans.
- Work within aernance framework, providing appropriate controls and reporting on project progress, benefits and achievements in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support implementation and training activities including transfer into BAU operational.
What we require from the candidate :
- Experience delivering large scale regulatory change.
- Experience of delivery of IT and business change projects is essential, alongside the proven capability of managing multiple senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing all stages of the delivery lifecycle, from initiation to post-production support.
- An understanding of IT and digital technologybined with a high degree of financial &mercial; awareness.
- Experience in the delivery of medium to highplexity projects with budgets over £1m.
- Experience in managing or delivering through multiple third-party suppliers including both large incumbent suppliers and smaller niche vendors.
- You will provide knowledge of a variety of project management tools, particularly MSP, and have proven experience in delivering projects using a variety of delivery methodologies, Waterfall and Scrum.
- Knowledge of Consumer Duty regulations (desirable).
