Design & Technology Teacher Sought for Prestigious International School

They are seeking a passionate and experienced Design & Technology Teacher to join their dedicated faculty. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of students from over 40 nationalities.
Position Overview :
The successful candidate will be instrumental in empowering students to develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical proficiency within an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
This role entails fostering a dynamic and hands-on learning environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and a lifelong love of design and technology.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Design & Technology curriculum to students in Grades 6 to 12.
- Design and implement engaging project-based learning experiences that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare and mark a wide range of assessments following MYP and DP protocols.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
- Teach and promote design thinking and technological literacy using a range of student-centered teaching strategies, resources, and technology.
- Embed IB "Approaches to Learning" in the curriculum delivery.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to establish interdisciplinary links and integrate design & technology into other subject areas.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in design & technology education.
Education and Qualifications :
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- International Baccalaureate curriculum experience (preferred)
- Fluency in both verbal and written English
Knowledge and Skills :
- Full knowledge of the subject matter and latest developments in design & technology education.
- Ability to deliver outstanding lessons using diverse teaching strategies and resources.
- Enthusiasm and passion for teaching Design & Technology.
- Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Excellent practitioner of innovative teaching strategies.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and technologies.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
