Employment Associate Solicitor
Cambridge £50,000 - £75,000
Location : Cambridge
Position : Full-Time or Part-Time
Are you an enthusiastic and driven legal professional with a passion for employment law? My Client who are a Leading Law firm are looking for an Associate to join their vibrant Employment team in Cambridge.
This role offers flexibility, allowing for both part-time and full-time working arrangements.
Role Overview :
As an Associate, you will work closely with two experienced Partners, managing a diverse and engaging caseload for both employers and employees.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Handling restrictive covenant disputes
- Addressing confidential information disputes
- Managing Employment Tribunal litigation
- Providing day-to-day workplace advice to employers
- Advising on and drafting settlement agreements
- Offering corporate support
- Drafting employment contracts and Employee Handbooks
- Navigating Data Protection issues in the workplace
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver expert advice on a wide range of employment issues.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in employment law and share knowledge with the team.
- Foster opportunities for cross-referral of work within the firm.
- Participate in business development initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills :
My client are seeking a candidate with :
- 3-6 years PQE in Employment Law
- A strong foundation in employment law
- Collaborative skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively
- Excellent technical and drafting abilities
- Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness
- A proactive, ambitious, and organized mindset with attention to detail
