Main duties of the job
What youll beresponsible for :
You will treat patients withcritical illnesses from all specialties, medical and surgical, as well asgiving post-operative support for planned, major surgery.
This care willinclude :
Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
Checking symptoms and vital signs and arrangingdiagnostic tests
Recognising, responding to, and managing emergencysituations
Planning, delivering and evaluating standards ofevidence-based nursing care
The role will involve, butnot be limited to you performing the above.

Pay Rates : £15-£25 Per Hour.

As North Derbyshire's only acute district general hospital, Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are responsible for providing a full range of acute services as well as providing community midwifery, specialist childrens services and a 24-hour Emergency Department.

- Recognising, responding to, and managing emergency situations
- Planning, delivering and evaluating standards of evidence-based nursing care
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
What you'll need :
- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Critical Care nursing environment within a hospital in the last 3 years
- Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
- The ability to ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
- Be committed to undertaking regular mandatory training
- Depending on the Trust,
you may require variable additional certification and skills.
