Children’s Social Work Team Manager, LAC / Leaving Care / UASC, North London

Pay rate £44.50 per hour

Contract role Looked After Children, Leaving Care, Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Work Team Manager in North London.

This will involve managing up to 6 workers that consists of Social Workers and Personal Advisors.

Knowledge of the Legislative work around the Children Act, Leaving Care Act and Unaccompanied Minors. Experience taking the lead Chairing Professional Meetings, Strategy Meetings and supporting staff attending multi-disciplinary meeting, Children Looked After Reviews etc.







Supporting staff interviewing and completing Merton Compliant Age Assessments. Ability to support and work with staff where there are performance issues;

ability to communicate both verbally and writing. Working in partnership with other TM and covering weekly duty. A Manager with experience of preparing for inspections.
