Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons to students ranging from primary to secondary level
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and student development
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, such as tests and assignments
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create an enriched curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching English to primary and / or secondary students
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students in their English learning journey
- Creative approach to teaching, incorporating innovative methods and resources
- A positive and flexible mindset, with the ability to adapt to the needs of a diverse student population
