I am very excited to be partnering with this Retail organisation who are going through rapid expansion. This vacancy is brand new to the business and you will be responsible for shaping the future of the commercial function.
As a Head of Commercial Finance, you will be the key financial partner to the Operations team, with the purpose of providing commercial analysis and business support to the operational management of the business.
You will support the business in understanding and influencing performance including sales and labour forecasting, financial performance, market trends, gross profit and margin.
Your primary duties will include :
- Business partner to the COO and Regional Management teams.
- Production and delivery of budgets and financial projections, and operating forecasts.
- Identify root cause of unexpected variances and drive operational improvement plans to achieve desired profitability.
- Work closely with the finance business partner and FC to monitor monthly and annual KPI's.
- Provide monthly market and competitor analysis and insights
- Report on financial performance and key issues at monthly Ops Board meetings
- Monitor store spend and work closely with ops to address variances.
- Provide insight and analysis into key aspects of performance to highlight issues and drive improved behaviours
