This full-time position will start in April, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual who is passionate about driving excellence in Spanish education.
As the Head of Spanish, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Spanish department, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for both students and staff.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Spanish department
- Oversee the quality of teaching and learning in Spanish
- Mentor and support Spanish teachers, fostering their professional growth
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance students' linguistic and cultural competence
- Coordinate and supervise extracurricular activities related to Spanish language and culture
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Spanish education and implement best practices
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievements, providing guidance and support when needed
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialization in Spanish or a related field
- Postgraduate degree in Spanish or Education (desirable)
- Extensive experience teaching Spanish, preferably at a secondary school level
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Passion for promoting Spanish language acquisition and cultural awareness
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development in Spanish education
