Job description
Wayman Group is currently seeking a motivated and passionate Maths teacher for an amazing school in Manchester. This position has an April start date and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education of young minds in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Use a variety of learning resources and technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community
- Contribute to the overall development and improvement of the Maths department through active involvement in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status with a specialization in Maths education
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students of varying abilities
- Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and dedication to supporting student growth and achievement
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
- Valid DBS check and relevant legal working status in the UK.
