Learning Support Assistant
St Helens

Are you looking for a new rewarding role supporting children and young adults?
Academics supports secondary schools across St Helens who are always on the look out for pro-active and caring individuals to support their pupils as a learning support assistant.
Within your new role you’ll be required to support secondary pupils (aged 11-16) on either a 1-1 basis or within small groups and you may also be required to support the class teacher as a general classroom teaching assistant.
We work with a high number of secondary schools across St Helens and Warrington and have a variety of opportunities ranging from day to day supply to longer term placements starting ASAP or September 2024.
Ideally you will have experience of working within a similar position as a learning support assistant or experience of supporting children and / or young adults.
Experience or a degree in the following will be advantageous :
Sports Coach
Psychology
Health & Social Care
Childhood / Youth studies
