Job description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Relationship and Business Development Manager to join a UK based group of companies within the Fintech industry.

This is a remote working opportunity, and the company will provide training and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a B2B environment in the financial services sector.

Experience within Foreign Exchange (FX) and related derivatives is highly advantageous, and a proven track record in a similar role is required.

This role will suit an individual with a keen eye for detail, solid technical abilities, can do’ attitude, and pro-active inclination.







Key Responsibilities and Qualifications for Relationship Management, Sales and Business Development Roles in Fintech

Experience in Financial Services :

Leverage extensive experience in the financial services industry to understand market dynamics and client needs.

Knowledge of Financial Products :

Utilize in-depth knowledge of financial service products to effectively address client requirements and position solutions.

Lead Generation and Prospecting :

Identify and engage potential clients through various channels to expand the customer base.

Client Relationship Management :

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored fintech solutions.

Sales Strategy Development :

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, leveraging knowledge of financial products and market conditions.

Collaboration with Product Teams :

Work closely with product development teams to ensure the financial services offered meet market demands and client expectations.

Market Positioning and Branding :







Enhance the company’s market presence and brand recognition by effectively communicating the value proposition of financial service products.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Minimum of 2-3 years of Relationship Management and / or Sales Experience : Demonstrated success in sales and relationship management role(s), preferably within a B2B environment related to financial institutions.
- Experience in FX : Having experience in foreign exchange (FX) is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage.
- Clear Verbal and Written Communicator : Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effectively engaging clients and internal teams.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented :





Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Self-Starter with Strong Work Ethic : Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative and a strong drive to achieve targets.
- Interest in Working in a Startup : Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic startup environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- These qualifications and responsibilities are critical for succeeding in sales, business development, and relationship management roles within the fintech industry, particularly when dealing with financial service products and clients in related fields.
