As the Head of Music, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the exceptional music education program at our prestigious school.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the music department, providing guidance and support to a team of music teachers
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and innovative music curriculum that aligns with national standards and educational requirements
- Plan and deliver inspiring and engaging music lessons to students of various abilities and age groups
- Nurture and develop musical talent among students, providing opportunities for performances and competitions
- Organize and coordinate music events, such as concerts, recitals, and festivals, showcasing the talents of our students
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate music across the curriculum and support cross-disciplinary learning
- Stay current with developments and advancements in music education, incorporating new teaching techniques, technologies, and trends into the program
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a music department or similar setting
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional music education and fostering student achievement
- Extensive knowledge of music theory, history, and practical skills
- Strong leadership and management abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and stakeholders
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and educational requirements, including national curriculum guidelines for music education
- Passion for music and a commitment to providing outstanding music education
