Job description
We are seeking experienced and knowledgeable SEND Teaching Assistants who specializing in the understanding and managing of autism in primary aged children.

The successful candidate will :
- Have ample experience engaging with SEN pupils, especially those with autism.
- Be patient, understanding and have a calm approachable manor.
- Be adaptable and versatile to pupils changes in behavior, wants and needs.
- Obtain a cache level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and enhanced DBS.
- Have up to date Team Teach training,
desirable but not essential.
- Have some understanding about EHCP’s, desirable but not essential.
Key responsibilities :
- Leading 1 : 1 or small group sessions following planning from SENCO, Teacher or using child’s EHCP.
- Helping SEN children to engage in a classroom environment on a 1 : 1 basis.
- Assist with locating the wants and needs of children with communication difficulties.
- Prepare activities and resources under instruction from a Teacher or SENCO.
- Unsure effective relevant record keeping is active.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
