T9-Specialist, a leading marketing and events firm based in Manchester, is looking for an enthusiastic Sales and Events Assistant to join our dynamic team.
We work with a range of clients, primarily non-profit organizations and commercial enterprises, to organize impactful events that engage the public and generate sales.
This role offers hands-on experience in event marketing and sales, providing opportunities for growth and professional development in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
About the Role :
As a Sales and Events Assistant , you’ll be at the forefront of our event campaigns, promoting client brands through face-to-face interactions.
You’ll be responsible for representing clients at various events,
ensuring that their missions are communicated effectively and that customer engagements are converted into meaningful sales or donations.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in sales while also gaining experience in event planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Event-Based Sales : Actively engage with potential customers at events to promote client products or services, aiming to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Event Participation : Assist in setting up and managing promotional event spaces across Manchester, ensuring a welcoming and engaging atmosphere that attracts and retains customer interest.
- Customer Interaction : Build rapport with event attendees, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the value of client offerings, leading to successful sales conversions.
- Brand Representation : Serve as an ambassador for our clients,
representing their brands with professionalism and passion at all events and ensuring customer experiences are memorable and positive.
- Performance Tracking : Monitor and report sales performance, providing feedback and insights to help optimize future campaigns and maximize event impact.
- Training and Development : Participate in ongoing training sessions to develop advanced sales techniques, improve customer engagement skills, and enhance overall product knowledge.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with the event team to plan, coordinate, and execute successful events, contributing ideas and strategies that drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements :
- Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. We cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas, unfortunately.
- Must not have applied to any of our openings in the past 30 days.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers.
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or events is advantageous but not essential training will be provided.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, event-driven environment, working both independently and as part of a team.
