Job Title : 1 : 1 SEN TA with Challenging Behaviours

£83.85 - £85 Per day

Job Duties :

- Provide 1 : 1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who exhibit challenging behaviours
- Implement individualised education plans and behaviour management strategies
- Assist with academic tasks, personal care, and social skills development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students

Required Qualifications :







- Level 2 or above qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with SEN and challenging behaviours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education :

Minimum of Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent

Experience :

Prior experience working with individuals with SEN and challenging behaviours

Knowledge and Skills :

- Understanding of SEN support strategies
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
- Training in behaviour management techniques

Working Conditions :

- Work in a school setting with students with SEN
- Full-time hours, temporary position
- Potential for challenging behaviours from students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
