IT Audit Assistant Manager
£60,000 - £65,000 - Multiple benefits
London - 2 days a week onsite
IO Associates have a permanent position for an IT Audit Assistant Manager to join a financial firm. The company is growing rapidly with 80 new hires last month
Founded over 100 years ago, they're a well-renowned Accountancy Firm, offering a wide range of professional services - including audit, accounts, tax, corporate finance, insolvency services, legal and more.
They were ranked 11th on Accountancy Age magazine's "UK Top 50 Accountancy Firms"
In response to client demand and evolving audit standards, they are looking for an experienced IT Audit professional to join the client-facing IT Assurance team.
As an Assistant Manager, this includes understanding, assessing, and evaluating an audited entity's IT systems and processes, risks, general controls and application controls.
This work is often delivered part of the external integrated audit engagements, working alongside the AI and data analytics team to leverage the power of technology to drive audit efficiency and effectiveness.

- Proven experience in delivering IT audits in an environment where multiple client engagements take place concurrently
- A good understanding of technology platforms, including business systems and underlying IT infrastructure components
- Interest and understanding of IT risks and internal controls across a broad range of industries and IT architectures
- Experience of testing IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC)
- Experience in carrying out SOC1 and / SOC2, ISO 27001 attestations will be beneficial
- Industry recognised qualifications such as CISA or equivalent will be beneficial
