Job description
An exciting job role has recently become available at the Sefton Council. They are looking for a new member for Vulnerable People Service.

Requirements :
- Manage a complex and varied caseload with appropriate supervision, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Prepare written statements and representations for Court hearings within legislative frameworks.
- Make complex decisions using professional judgment, critical reflection, and service user involvement.
- Assess levels of risk and need,
conduct safeguarding investigations, and maintain updated assessments and care plans.
- Develop and negotiate personalised care packages with individuals and stakeholders within allocated budgets.
- Undertake direct work with adults and families according to care plans.
- Collaborate across multi-agency boundaries and represent the department in multidisciplinary forums, including chairing when required.
- Model critical reflection, evidence-based decision-making, inclusive practice, and contribute to team and professional development.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker :
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
