We are a strong and robust team and are seeking a new 'family' member. We are offering an exciting opportunity for 1 part-time Treatment Room Nurse for 25-33hours across 5 days.

Ladywell Medical Centre is a suburban practice based in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Treatment Room Nurse to work alongside our current nursing and wider clinical team.

You will work directly within the close knit nursing team to provide first class nursing care to circa 10,800 patients but the role extends to working with our GP Partners and extended clinical and admin staff.







Applicants must be NMC registered and will have experience in General Practice preferably. The role will include cervical screening, wound care, dealing with minor injuries, health promotion, management of Chronic Disease Conditions, and sexual and reproductive healthcare.

The post-holder will be expected to undertake CPD and develop skills in these areas.

Our Practice is a GP Partnership comprising 7 Partners and one salaried GP. We have a dedicated team of phlebotomists, PNs and HCA.

Furthermore we benefit from SAS and Pharmacy allocation through our PCIP.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record and experience of working in a GP practice setting. Experience of managing long term Chronic Disease and be able to undertake Cervical Screening are key elements of the role.
