Job Description
This role offers an intensive 18 month learning journey with the project development team.
The program aims to give you experience across all areas of the development process, preparing you for the role of project manager.
In this role you will have exposure to the whole utility scale solar + storage development lifecycle from site origination through to fully consented.
What you will do :
- Liaising with technical, legal and financial internal teams and external consultants
- Managing co-developers' day to day activity
- Engagement with landowners and land agents regarding securing land for solar and storage projects
- Identifying new solar sites
- Performing feasibility studies to assess projects viability
- Grid connection offers review and acceptance
- Preparing Investment Committee’s memos
- Site visits to the Italian sites
- Drive and promote the corporate values of Elgin within the workplace
What you should expect to learn in this role :
- Knowledge of the Italian Solar industry
- Understanding the grid network infrastructure and technical requirements to connect a PV project to the grid.

Your profile
- To be fluent in Italian and english is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, economics, business management or related discipline.
- Be curious about renewables and passionate about contributing towards a more sustainable future.
- Previous work experience in Project Management or Business development .
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A goal-oriented mindset with a 'positive can-do attitude'
- Be proactive, smart and good at time management and problem solving
- Valid European driver's license is a good addition .
