Job description
The role :
This role is a 2-year graduate programme, comprising of three 8-month rotations through Sales, Category Management and Marketing.
The sales rotation will be within one of our existing customer facings teams. In this role you will gain an understanding of the commercial management of our customers.
You will support the Account Managers with sales reporting and developing customer plans. Liaising with other departments at site you will help to ensure our service to the customer is always of the highest standard and quality.
The Category Management rotation will be within one of our category teams. In this role you will support the team in providing category and consumer insights,
utilising all available data to influence and drive our growth agenda.
In the marketing rotation, you will get exposure to all aspects of the marketing mix and work with external creative marketing and PR agencies that support the business.
This will include digital marketing, social media principles and management, copywriting, brand marketing and more...
On this scheme, you'll develop a broad range of Sales and Marketing expertise, gain experience across different disciplines, and get all the support you need to develop your career.
As part of your induction, you'll join a bootcamp with a graduate cohort from all departments across the business. After this, you'll form an integral part of the sales and marketing teams, being involved in numerous projects and development workstreams as appropriate at the time.
Things you could be doing on your programme : -
Supporting ABP site teams and departments which may require some travel and overnight stays across the UK & Ireland.
Working with the sales team to showcase ABP as a first-class supplier
Helping to maintain ABP's reputation as a consumer led, insight driven organisation
Sharing great news stories internally and externally through our channels
Working with our People teams to showcase ABP as an employer of choice in the industry
General Support
Providing regular reporting to both our customers and internal stakeholders
Project work in conjunction with multiple departments
Knowledge and Experience
We're looking for graduates that have studied a relevant degree.
A passion, drive and enthusiasm for sales and marketing
Strong analytical, presentation and IT skills.
You will be numerate, confident with numbers and able to assimilate complex information.
You will have strong IT skills particularly Powerpoint and Excel.
You will have strong networking and influencing skills.
Great interpersonal, negotiation and resolution skills.
You will be resilient and able to work with pace and use your own initiative.
Full UK driving license
